APT repository

I've set up an apt repository at, for all the packages we use in addition to RedHat's base distribution.

Currently, the packages are geared to support Zope and Plone and all the associated dependencies. I've also created RPMs for some Zope packages, including ZWiki, ZSyncer and Colorz and will continue to add packages like this as they are much easier to set up.

To install apt on RedHat, have a look at Configuration involves adding a couple of lines to /etc/apt/sources.list:

  # Floop
  rpm i386 stable
  rpm-src i386 stable

There are some packages which are built for specific RedHat major versions, and these are referenced by adding rh7, rh8 or rh9 to the end of each line above.
